Production:

An original and beautifully crafted Xarel.lo wine originated from Bodegas Martí Serdà. Elaborated on the Mas Cortei estate in the Alt Penedès municipality of La Granada, it is made entirely from the autochthonous Penedès grape variety, the Xarel.lo, from vines planted over 50 years ago.

After a manual harvest, they go through a 20-day fermentation in stainless steel vats. The wine is held for a brief period of 5 weeks on its lees with regular batonnage and rests for some time until its bottling in stainless steel vats. Clarified and filtrated before bottling.

Tasting Notes:

Clean, fresh aromatic nose, displaying mature white fruit notes with citric and floral tones. The palate is aromatic, with apricot and citric flavors. Bright and refreshing with a silky texture and good acidity, finishing on an elegant citrus note.

Note: Drink now in its youth or over the next 2 years. A match for all fish dishes, shellfish, salads, rice dishes, and also with white meats.
