The sixth of the 9+ selections is a 100% Moscatel selection. A natural, orange wine without added sulphite, made from 100% Moscatel grapes from eco-certified vines.

The 6è Moscatel belongs to the range of the single varietal selection wines. Produced by Celler 9+ in La Nou de Gaià, a small village in the Tarragonès area. Moisès Virgili i Rovira, a winegrower with a strong connection to and passion for agriculture since childhood, is the heart and soul behind this project, which was launched with the aim of making natural wines and giving all the protagonism to the local varieties sourced from their own vineyards.

They work 38 hectares, of which 20 hectares are planted with vines on calcareous soils. The vines are organically farmed and benefit from the influence of the Mediterranean Sea breeze.

The wines are crafted with the utmost respect for the environment and without any additives or preservatives. Only grapes!! Small productions are made.

The vineyards are organically farmed, duly certified by the authority CCPAE, the Catalan Council for Organic Agricultural Production.

Vinification:

Macerated with the skins for 32 days, fermented with indigenous yeasts. Aged for 9 months on its lees with weekly stirring. Bottled without any additives or preservatives, without fining or stabilisation, and without added sulphites.

Tasting Notes:

Fragrant nose with floral scents of rose and jasmine, fruit notes like apricot and pineapple. Medium body with good intensity and freshness, finishing with a slight bitter touch.

It is recommended to decant the wine before serving. It may present natural deposits.
