The Torres family's single-varietal Chardonnay, Milmanda, is regarded as one of the country's best white wines and the most classic Chardonnays of Spain.

The wine is produced exclusively from the chardonnay variety from a single estate, the "Milmanda estate", located at the foot of the Milmanda Castle, from where it takes its name. A 15-hectare vineyard dedicated exclusively to the cultivation of the Chardonnay variety since it was planted more than 40 years ago. An ideal spot where the Chardonnay variety can grow to its full potential under the optimal climatic, geological, and orographic conditions, safeguarded by the Sierra de Prades and the Mediterranean climate.

Winemaking: 

Manual grape selection. Fermented entirely in barrels. Aged in 300-liter barrels (80% new French oak) for 4-6 months. Followed by 10 months of lees ageing in vats.

Tasting Notes: Golden yellow, lively and bright. It reveals subtle aromas of forest herbs, aniseed tones and light smoky notes. On the palate, it shows intensity and concentration, creamy mouthfeel, ripe fruit flavours, pineapple, grapefruit, fine lees and citrus notes. Excellent acidity with perfect fruit-oak integration. Finishing gracefully and persistently.
