Los Torns is a fresh and elegant single variety Grenache white wine, an authentic terroir wine that comes from a single vineyard. Made by winemaker Joan Ramón Bada, as part of his new and more personal project, "Joan Bada Vins de Vinyes Úniques".

Joan Bada is a well-known winemaker for his participation in the Celler Vins de Tros project, whose wines are highly regarded and ranked among the best wines from Catalonia.

With the project of Vins de Vinyes üniques, he continues with his philosophy of focusing on producing wines from the main native regional grapes with organic farming and great respect for the environment. Here, he produces authentic wines from the terroir with minimal intervention from small plots in Vilalba dels Arcs, in the northern Terra Alta region.

Production:

The grapes come from "Los Torns" a small plot and unique for its sandy panal soil, a mixture of sandy lands and silts where the plants develop deep roots that coexist with the lime. The agriculture is traditional, with an organic orientation and minimal intervention.

Manual harvest and fermentation in stainless steel tank. Aged for 6 months, 50% in Inox and the other 50% in glass demijohns under a veil.

Bottled during the waning moon without filtering or clarification.

A total of 2248 bottles were produced. Natural sediments may be present.

Tasting Notes:

Clean and bright yellow. Fresh, elegant, lively, and deeply fruited, displaying stone fruit. Just the right level of acidity over a minerally background, supple and soft-textured, balanced with a lovely herbaceous vein.
