Maladona vermut, as of 2023, is made from a base of 100% Malvasia de Sitges (up until then, its wine base was Macabeo).

The Vermouth Maladona comes from a small celler in Sitges, Barcelona, a very small project by Miguel A. Diaz Soriano.

Production:

It is a selection of 14 botanicals together with a base of  white wine 100% Malvasía de Sitges variety from the Garraf area. Dark-colored red vermouth that has undergone a long maceration process with the aromatic plants, and relates to the story of one of the Garraf mountains.

It has a marked herbaceous aroma that highlights the wormwood, coffee, licorice, and nutmeg flavours that make it unique. It presents a refreshing, balsamic profile with a noticeable bitter touch. Unctuous, with an excellent balance between sweet notes, reminiscent of candied fruit, and bitter notes. Velvety with an explosive finish.

The label is the work of the cartoonist Jorge Fornes, who currently stands out for his work for Marvel as Batman.

Perfect as an aperitif or as a base for cocktails, to be served on ice with orange peel.
