Lustau's Red Vermouth from Jerez de la Frontera is made according to a traditional family recipe that is based on a careful selection of Lustau Sherry wines, botanicals, and fragrant plants.

Production:

A blend of two Sherry wines; one is a dry Amontillado and the other is a sweet Pedro Ximénez aged for more than 10 years in the traditional “solera and criaderas” system. More than 10 botanical and aromatic herbs are used, of which stand out, sage, coriander, orange peels, absinth, and others. Each botanical macerates separately, and afterward they are combined to obtain the perfect blend.

Tasting Notes: Sweet aromas of red fruit combined with citric and herbal notes, predominately orange peel, coriander and cinnamon notes. Velvety textured, smooth and harmonious, flavorful, finishing with a marked bitter sweet character and a nutty aftertaste.

Note: Ideal as aperitif. To be served cold with ice and orange peel.

Emilio Lustau S.A. was founded in 1896 and is today one of the most well-known producers of wines, brandies, and vinegars from Jerez. It offers a wide range of the best quality sherries. The range comprises more than forty wines originating from the three towns that make up the Sherry Triangle: Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María, and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Maintaining its ideas of combining tradition and innovation has carved out the way to identifying Lustau with quality and prestige.
