Production:  This Old Harvest is the result  of a careful blend of the 1918’s soleras (Pedro Ximénez from raisins ) and the 1964’s soleras ( Pedro Ximénez from Oxidative Ageing). The Casks selected from each solera are blended a year before its bottling with a major proportion of  oxidative ageing wine but nicely rounded off with the raisins’ wine.

Tasting Notes:  Dark amber colour, clean and bright showing good density. Toasty scented nose. Big and rounded on the palate. well balanced, mouth filling up front palate of raisiny toasty flavours and soft smoky touches. Medium dry with a pleasant natural sweetness and an almond flavour aftertaste.

Ximénez-Spínola is a small, independent family winery, specialist in elaborating products exclusively from Pedro Ximénez. They put all their effort into the quality and prestige of its production, and as a result, their production, is extremely small, with releases very limited and each numbered, which transforms each bottle into a unique piece with a full guarantee of the quality and age of their products.
