Lustau Añada 1995 Vintage sherry is part of the Vintage Series Collection, started by the House of Lustau in 1989. A collection of vintages with the Palomino grape as a protagonist, with each vintage evolving at its own pace and revealing the lesser-known side of the Palomino grape. The results are singular, unrepeatable and transgressive wines.

A sweet wine from a unique selection of a very limited edition, made from 100% Palomino grapes. Although the Palomino is usually associated with dry wines, this vintage sherry is a wine with a natural sweetness that is achieved after a late harvest and a partial fermentation with the aim of retaining the sugar present in the grapes.

Te wine ages for 29 years in casks that previously held Oloroso, undergoing both static and oxidative maturation. The wine is then bottled only when it has reached its peak.

A limited batch of 3969 bottles was released in spring 2024.

This exclusive Palomino sweet wine is intense and very fragrant, it presents a deep mahogany colour. It has a good concentration and complexity, with aromas of candied stone fruit and a spicy and toasted background. The palate is sweet, with rich notes of honey and caramelised orange peel together with vanilla notes and smoked wood, and it's all balanced by a clean acidity. Long and persistent finish.

This wine has been bottled without any kind of treatment, drawn straight from the barrel. It could show some cloudiness or sediments, which is quite natural and in no way will alter the enjoyment of the wine. It is recommended to store the bottle upright.

Notes: Ideal with dark chocolate, foie, blue cheeses, and desserts.

The story of Emilio Lustau S.A. began way back in 1896 when José Ruiz-Berdejo established the company, giving free rein to his passion for Sherry and resulting in the basis for a family enterprise.

Today is considered to be a world leader in high quality wines. It offers a wide range of the best quality sherries from Jerez. The range comprises more than forty wines originating from the three towns that make up the Sherry Triangle: Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Maintaining its ideas of combining tradition and innovation has carved out the way to identifying Lustau with quality and prestige.
