Production:

An exquisite sweet Liquor rancid style wine of very limited production, very hard to get hold of one, which has been produced from a selection of the Moscactel d’Alexandria grapes, wines from barrels of different ages in a single blend. Long ageing in Foudres Oak by the traditional method of Criaderas and Soleras.

Tasting Notes:

Amber colour, intense nose of mature tropical fruit, and dry white flowers. On the palate is all silkiness in perfect harmony, displaying a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity to retain a fresh feel with a finish that lasts and lasts. Utterly delicious, complex wine.

Note: As with all fortified wines, sediments can be produced within a period of time after its bottling. It is recommended to store the bottle upright. Excellent as a digestive with cured cheeses.

THE WINERY

Founded in 1851, De Muller is a top name in Tarragona, very well-known worldwide for being the supplier of the traditional Mass wine and for its rancio and fortified wines. At present, De Muller offers a very wide range of quality wines under the Denomination of Origin Tarragona, as well as in Priorat and Terra Alta. Since the beginning of 1996, the winery surrounded by its vineyards has been located in the finca "Mas de Valls" in Reus (Tarragona). Their modern installations have a capacity for a production of four million liters, and here they elaborate the Tarragona Denomination of Origin wines, all sourced from their 150 ha of own vineyars. They also have a property in the village of El Molar, in the south-eastern part of El Priorat, with 34 ha of vineyards, "Mas de les Pusses", and a new cellar with a capacity of 500.000 liters, where they produce the Priorat Denomination of Origin wines.
