Glenfarclas is a distillery since 1865, a family owned and managed distillery in Ballindalloch - Speyside, now in the hands of the fifth and sixth generation, the Grant family which remain very much committed in creating the best quality Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky in the traditional Speyside style.

Glenfarclas 12 years is the result of over 180 years of tradition and experience, secrets passed on through six generations of the family. A whisky with a unique taste thanks to the tumbling waters of the green burn and the fresh highland air, to the use of the great copper stills which continue to be direct fired and to the family's uncompromising commitment to maturing Glenfarclas int he best oak cask, 100% Oloroso Sherry cask matured, all of this makes it an enjoyable and outstanding whisky as an introduction to the distillery style.

Tasting Notes:  Amber gold color with a fresh tempting nose which oozes sweetness. Full bodied, sherried fruit, spicy sweetness with a touch of oak. Long and flavoursome with a lingering spiciness.
