Crafted from old vines Macabeo, Xarelo, and Parellada vines, the Penedè's traditional varieties. Harvested manually, traditional slow fermentation in stainless steel. Minimum ageing of 36 months. Non-added expedition liqueur. 100% ecologic an vinified in-house.

Tasting Notes: 

Lots of tiny bubbles. A scented nose of ripe fruit combined with the delicate ageing aroma, butter, and toasted notes. Good volume, splendid integration of ripe fruit aromas with the ageing notes, as well as some toasted and nutty touches. Long and persistent aftertaste.

Note: Best consumed up to 12–24 months after the disgorgement date. Ideal as an aperitif, it also combines well with Iberian ham, cold meats, seafood, fish and meat sauce dishes, rice, meat, and semi-cured cheeses.

Agusti Torelló Mata is a family-owned winery of highly acclaimed prestige in the region, located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the capital of Cava and the heart of the Penedès region. They produce cavas from traditional local varieties, 100% Penedès and 100% old vines. They strictly monitor the vines' growth, set production limits, and practice manual selection and picking of the grapes, vine by vine. All of their sparkling wines are renowned for their character, quality, and prestige.
