Terrer d'Aubert is a red wine with a marked Mediterranean character, showing the perfect combination of freshness and salinity provided by the terroir where Finca Vinyes del Terrer is located.

Production:

Made from selected Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from fossil-rich soils. Fermentation in stainless steel vats for 20 days. The wine has spent 12 months in 5000-litre foudres, 225-litre Allier oak barrels, and 250-litre amphoras.

Tasting Notes:

It has a distinct nose of red fruits such as cherry, raspberry, and blackberry, with marked mineral notes. Medium-bodied, light and fluid on the palate, with mineral and firm structure. Well-integrated oak with mature tannins.

Vinyes del Terrer’s state consists of nine parcels scattered over 7 hectares located just south of Tarragona in the municipal district of Vilaseca, within the D.O. Tarragona. The vineyards are planted on siliceous, fossil-rich soils accumulated over millions of years, a unique soil called lumaquela, at an altitude of 20 metres above sea level and just 2 km away from the Mediterranean Sea. Its microclimate is characterised by its abundant sunshine and gentle sea breezes, which, together with the particular composition of fossil-rich soils, produce intensely mineral wines.
