GR 65-5 is the red wine produced by Casa Gran del Siurana under the Montsant DO. A blend of Black Grenache and Samsó (Carignan) from old vines grown in a respectful manner.

Its name refers to the GR 65-5 trail, which corresponds to the Camino de Santiago as it passes through Catalonia. A journey through unique landscapes that crosses the majestic Sierra del Montsant Natural Park and its vineyards, where the fruit for making this distinctive Montsant style wine grows.

Production:

Selection in the winery and destemming of the grapes. Fermentation at a constant temperature in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of ripe black fruit, spices, and herbs with a clear Mediterranean character. On the palate, there is good volume and freshness with silky tannins and good acidity and balance.
