The fourth of the 9+ selections is a 100% Sumoi selection. A natural wine without added sulphite, made from grapes from eco-certified vines.

The 4t Sumoi belongs to the range of the single varietal selection wines. Produced by Celler 9+ in La Nou de Gaià, a small village in the Tarragonès area. Moisès Virgili i Rovira, a winegrower with a strong connection to and passion for agriculture since childhood, is the heart and soul behind this project, which was launched with the aim of making natural wines and giving all the protagonism to the local varieties sourced from their own vineyards.

They work 38 hectares, of which 20 hectares are planted with vines on calcareous soils. The vines are organically farmed and benefit from the influence of the Mediterranean Sea breeze.

The wines are crafted with the utmost respect for the environment and without any additives or preservatives. Only grapes!! Small productions are made.

The vineyards are organically farmed, duly certified by the authority CCPAE, the Catalan Council for Organic Agricultural Production.

Vinification:

Macerated with the skins for 7 days, fermented with indigenous yeasts. Aged for 9 months in amphora. Bottled without any additives or preservatives, without fining or stabilisation, and without added sulphites.

Tasting Notes:

Elegant, fresh, and flavoursome. Notes of red fruits and Mediterranean forest herbs. Good acidity, marked tannins, and a long finish.

Best served a little chilled.
