Elaborated by Celler Rendé Masdéu, a small family-run winery in L'Espluga de Francoli in the Denomination of Origin Conca de Barberà. A winery with a long tradition in the wine business, inherited from their forefathers.

The family cultivates and elaborates organic wine, especially from single varietals of indigenous varieties that are well-suited to the terroir; they are also successfully specialized in the production of bittersweet vinegar from Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay

Production: 

Harvested by hand from their own vineyards with clay-limestone and licorella soils. Destemming, maceration, and fermentation in French oak barrels.

Matured for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Deep garnet coloured. Excellent complexity, the aromas of dark fruit, sweet plum and blackcurrant fruits blend in very well with notes of caramel, vainilla and spice. Good depth, expressive, with adequate acidity, well-inegrated wood, fruits of the forest, with a long, smooth finish.
