Manyetes is a "Vi de Paratge" Gratallops. The grapes come from same vineyard that gives the name to the wine, "Manyetes" which is the name of a paraje in Gratallops. As of 2018, the wine is classified as "Vi de Paratge". A classification that includes wines from an identified and delimited area of the "Vi de Vila" territories under the corresponding name of the "paraje".

The 3.5 hectares are situated on a sloping hillside in the warmest area,  in a particularly poor terroir of "licorella" slate soils. Here, because of the sun's intense heat, the grapes grow in challenging conditions with extreme dryness.

Production:

Harvested manually and vinified with indigenous yeasts and 40% stems. Aged for 16 to 18 months in foudre and demijohns. The oak comes from the best forests in Europe. Bottled in June 2023.

Tasting Notes: An extraordinary, powerful palate, dense, good freshness, mineral and complex, ripe tannins, and silky texture. Flavours of plums, black cherries, and black currants.

Winery

Clos Mogador is located in Gratallops, in the heart of the Priorat hills. The winery was founded in 1989 by René Barbier. The terraced Clos Mogador vineyards form a gigantic natural amphitheatre above the Siurana River, with an average altitude of 450 metres above sea level. His star wine is Clos Mogador, made with Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Carignan. The Grenache vines are more than 80 years old.
