Matraketa Negre is a blend of mainly Black Grenache with a small proportion of Syrah grapes from the family estate "Finca Els Plans", a 2.8-hectare vineyard on clay-calcareous soils in La Figuera, in the Montsant region.

Wine elaborated in a natural style without added sulphites and produced in small quantities. This vintage produced only 1287 bottles.

Fermented with native yeasts and aged on its lees for four months in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes:

Fresh and mineral, juicy and fluid, with a distinct fruity character. On the palate, the wine is smooth and creamy, with loads of ripe fruit and a hint of acidity towards the end.

Following the philosophy of Celler Ficaria Vins owner Jaume Roca, all work is carried out with respect to the environment, with little intervention and always adhering to organic and biodynamic guidelines.

El Celler Ficaria Vins is a member of the "Gremi de Vinyataire Lliures", an organisation created to give voice to and defend the interests of independent wine producers, small viticulturists-producers mostly of natural and biodynamic wines who do not belong to any Denomination of Origin.
