Young red wine from Pinot Noir Vineyards located in the Conca de Barberà region. Made by Celler Capçanes under the guarantee of the DO Catanluya Regulatory Council.

Production:  

This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown and vinified with minimal intervention, allowing only a brief maceration and minor skin contact during fermentation. Fermented at a controlled temperature of 16 ºC in stainless steel tanks. Light pressing after fermentation and gentle filtering.

Light, delicate, fresh, with a Mediterranean character, flavorful, perfumed nose, and elegant

Notes: It goes perfectly with fish dishes, salmon, white meats, and all kinds of salads.

The Winery

Founded in 1933 by five families from the village of Capçanes, who together established a cooperative that would handle large quantities of grapes economically and efficiently. The cooperative bears the name of the village where it is located: Capçanes, a village hidden away in the Priorato hills inland from Tarragona and with a long wine-growing history.
In the 1990s, the company was reinvented as an independent company with its original members as shareholders; today, they have around 130 members and produce a wide selection of high-quality wines, including the well known Peraj Ha’abib, a Kosher wine, under the Montsant appellation.
