Production:

The grapes to make October come from their own vineyard in Cornudella de Montsant. The blend is dominated by black Grenache, with Carignan as its partner. The wine spent 6 months in second-year European oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Cherry colour, bright and intense, fruity aromas of raspberry and strawberry, a hint of liquorice, and floral notes. The palate is fruity and fleshy, with a delicious grenache telltale, and a rounded and juicy fruit finish.

Notes: Drink now and over the next 2-3 years.

Cingles Blaus is an artisanal winery, making wines since 2001, initially in Cornudella de Montsant, and since 2006 in Mas de les Moreres at the foot of the Monsant range.

Mas de les Moreres is an exceptional estate with a very old farmhouse dating back to the XV century. The grapes are sourced from their own vineyards, which are found in two different locations: "Mas de Les Moreres", a vineyard located on the slopes of the river Arbolí, composed of slate soils, and the vineyards located around Cornudella de Montsant, north-east of the Priorat region at about 570 meters above sea level with stony clay soils.

They practice traditional agriculture with great respect for the environment, with most of the winemaking work being done manually.
