Continuing with the Celler’s philosophy of focusing on the elaboration of mono-varietal wines from the region's main native grape variety, comes the red wine, Cent X Cent, a mono-varietal wine made exclusively from 100% Red Grenache from own vines in La Bassa estate, organically grown and following biodynamic principles.

Production: 

Grapes are crushed and whole grain fermented to enhance aromas.

Spontaneous malolactic fermentation.

Aged in 1000-liter amphorae for about 7 months on its lees.

Bottled during the waning moon.

Tasting Notes:

Sweet nose with black fruit aromas and mineral nuances. On the palate, it is smooth and clean with expressive flavous of ripe black fruit, rounded tannins, and a warm, lengthy finish.

THE WINERY

Vins del Tros is a small winery located in the historic village of Vilalba dels Arcs within the D.O. Terra Alta. This is a project that two longtime friends and wine enthusiasts, Joan Ramon Bada, an oenologist, and Josep Arrufat, a winegrower, just launched. When, in 2009, and with the support and encouragement of their own families, they began producing their own wines, their aim was to make wines that would preserve the varietal's typicity and highlight the true characteristics of their home region, Terra Alta.

All their wines are sourced from specific vineyards planted with the region’s traditional grape varieties and have an average age of 18 to 90 years.
