Gran Luna is the flagship wine of the winery, organically produced it is a perfect blend from a selection of the best grapes sourced from 15 years old vines from "La Cañada del Navajo" estate.
The wine has spent 15 months in French oak barrels continuing with another 48 months in bottle to enhance its aromas and balance, before being released into the market. The result is a an excellent quality wine that has been awarded with the Great Gold Medal at the 2020 Brussels World Contest.
Tasting Notes:
Intense and long with good concentration of spicy black fruits, spicy. Inviting, complex, balanced acidity and excellent weight of rich bramble fruit with flavours from the oak. Alcohol well balanced alongside fruit and structure. A harmonious and well-structured wine with a warming lengthy finish
Notes: It is recommended letting the wine breathe in the glass in order to achieve Its maximum flavours. Good aging potential
Bodega Dehesa Luna Finca Reserva de Biodiversidad presents a new line of premium wines, made from autochthonous varieties coming from a Biodiveristy Reserve Estate at the very heart of the Castilla y La Mancha region, in La Roda, Albacete.
Their 64 hectares of vineyards are divided into 4 plots and surrounded by 2800 ha of natural space, rich in fauna and flora, inhabited by imperial eagles and other protected species. A vineyard designed to respect the environment, applying measures that balance all-natural resources of water and renewable energy to become a fully sustainable winery that works in accordance with nature.
The result is a range of great wines, organically farmed, that have been created in total harmony with nature, wines that have obtained numerous awards and recognition from the best critics worldwide. The wines are commercialised outside of any Denomination of Origin.
