Production: Sourced from 14 -34 year old vines from selected low-yielding vineyards.  Aged for 20 months in French oak Foudres and Bocois. Bottled without clarification, cold stabilization or filtration in order to preserve intact the wines natural characteristics. Production of 28500 bottles,

The Finca Dofí vineyards are located in the heart of the Priorat, 10 hectares of vineyards situated on terraced land facing Northeast/Southeast and East on licorella soil in the village of Gratallops at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters above sea level. Finca Dofí is Álvaro Palacio´s 2nd wine. This exceptional wine is a reflection of its wine maker passion and of the great terroir where it is produced.

Tasting Notes: Open in the nose with a complex bouquet, good concentration of ripe cherry fruit, mineral, pomegranate skin and  licorice. Well structured and elegant, fresh and juicy entry on the palate. Displays flavours of dark berries and spices. Fine tannins and a persistent mineral finish.

Notes:  Will continue to evolve over the next 3 - 4 years, and have a 10 - 13 years lifespan.
