This is the flagship wine of the winery, made from a blend of very old-vine Grenache and young-vine Syrah from different vineyards in the village of Gratallops, grown on steeply terraced llicorella soils in a sun exposure vineyard, totaling just 7 hectares in the highly acclaimed wine region of Priorat. The grapes are sourced year after year from the same vineyards, Escales, Aubagues and Socarrats, which are vinified separately.

Production:

The grapes are sorted by hand, destemmed, and slightly crushed. Aged for 20 months in new French oak casks and second year casks and one part in amphoras. Bottled without finning or filtration. 

Tasting Notes:

Intense aromas of jammy black fruits and cassis fruits, with touches of liquorice and toasty new oak notes. Full bodied, deep, full-concentrated fruits with good weight and nicely balanced acidity.
