The small production consists of pure Carignan sourced from low-yielding over 80-year-old vines from a single plot, just 1.8 hectares planted on sloped, high-altitude hillsides made up of licorella soil and south-facing. The vines are located in the municipal district of the village of Torroja, within the appellation of Priorat.
Production:
The vinification starts mainly with the handpicking of the fruits. Then the grapes are carefully hand-sorted, eliminating any overripe or undesired grapes. Whole clusters fermented in tanks with natural yeasts. The wine ages in a third-use 3500-litre oak "foudre" (oval cask) for about 24 months before being bottled under gravity without finning or filtration.
Production of 4098 bottles.
Tasting notes:
It has a darker fruit complexity with a black fruit graphitic edge and smoky and toasted notes for this elegant, creamy, fresh, and balanced wine.

Desde sus comienzos en 2004, Terroir Al Límit con gran imaginación y esfuerzo, se situa entre las grandes y respetadas no solo de la región, sino también a nivel internacional. En sus 10 hectáreas se producen 6 vinos diferentes, cada uno reflejando las características particulares del suelo, la altura y orientación del viñedo donde proviene.
