Imagine is a delicate and peculiar red wine made with the Giró grape variety from vines planted in 1950 and earlier at 600 meters of altitude, growing in terraces with white soils that are higher in limestone and close to the Mediterranean Sea. The wine is made by Bodegas Gutierrez de la Vega in the small village of Parcent in the Alicante mountains.

Production: 

Traditional manual cultivation and hand-harvested grapes that have been carefully selected. The grapes are destemmed, lightly pressed, and fermented in open barrels. Matured in used French oak barrels for 18 months.

Tasting Notes: 

Smooth and elegant wine. Floral aromas combined with Mediterranean forest herbs and fine spices, nutmeg and clove, toasted notes, and fine tannins with a dry and slightly earthy finish.
