Small family-run winery located in the village of Porrera, D.O.Q. Priorat. The family Castellví-Figuerola renovated in 1999 the old family town house to accommodate the winery and start to make their own wines. They personally carry-out the total process of the operation. They make wines from grapes sourced exclusively from their own estates; “Mas d’en Caçador” and “Mas d’en Ferran”, which have been in the hands of the family over several generations dedicated to growing grapes sold to other wineries.

Production:

Roquers de Samsó is a very limited crafted wine, made exclusively from centenarian Caringan vines coming from their “Mas d’en Caçador” vineyard in Porrera. Aged between 16-18 months in new French oak.  792 bottles made for the 2019 vintage

Tasting Notes:  

Deep black fruit aromas. Ripe, warm, spice, smoky notes, earthy tannins. Rich, intense with good weight and balance.

Notes: Drink now and up to 10-15 years
