Serving Temperature:  We recommend serving the Tuturi at 16ºC. The mature style of these wines requires a cooler temperature for tasting.

Production: Tuturi is a Signature wine of limited production, the result of the collaboration of two experienced, young enologist, Sofia Lahoz Sánchez and Toni Sánchez-Ortiz from the Solà d’Ares company. Here, Toni surprises us, once again, his innovative and restless spirit shines through the wine of this new project he is involved with. The Tuturi bears the telltale stamp of Toni’s wines.

Tututri is a coupage of mainly Carignan with a touch of Grenache, sourced from their own vineyards, two different vineyards, one is linked to the Priorat’s terroir: “Finca El Molar” in the Priorat region, composed of very low-yielding old vines growing on slate (llicorella) soils and the other one in Aragón: “Finca Los Cerrillos”. Natural fermentation, ageing during 15 months in second wine French oak barrel. Bottled without clarifying. 1200 bottles produced without Denomination of Origin seal.

The Solà d’Ares company is the tiny but very interesting Project, that includes all the wines elaborated by Antoni Sanchez Ortiz, a professional in the wine business and fully committed to quality, with a character open to new enterprises, never fails to surprise us. Antoni has a formidable Curriculum when it comes to winemaking and brings his formidable experience and youthful passion to the making of this beautifully crafted wine. He is also the winemaker and viticulturist in Melis – D.O.Q. Priorat and in Terrer d’Aubert, D.O. Tarragona, both mid-sized wineries that bet on quality winemaking.  

Tasting Notes:  Black-coloured. Very ripe black fruit, spicy nose and a mineral background. Dense, rich and complex with a balanced acidity and dryness and mouthfuls of jammy black fruit flavors. Well integrated oak with silky tannins. Long and persistent finish.
