Production:  A blend of Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) with just a tiny percentage of Merlot (10%). After a traditional vinification the wine ages during 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Elaborated by The Montebaco winery, exclusively from own grapes sourced from the estate’s 50 hectares, the Monte Alto Estate located on hillsides at about 850 – 900 meters high at the heart of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, between the main towns, Valbuena del Duero and Pesquera.

Tasting Notes:  Juicy ripe fruits in a supple, smooth and light wine, fruit-driven, a touch of toasted notes and very fine tannins.

Notes:  Drink now and up to 3 - 6 years.
