Orto vins started in 2008 as the result of a joint project  from 4 vinegrowers from  El Masroig, small village inside the apellation of Montsant in the Catalonia region. Jordi Beltran, Josep Mª Beltran, Josep Mª Jové and Joan Asens. All of them come from families wit a long tradition in vinegrowing.  With this project headed by Joan Asens, an experienced oenologist, and best known for his work during 15 years in Alvaro Palacio`s winery in Gratallops, where he was in charge of the viticulture and vinification side, they return to their origens continuing to blend the finest quality wines, from their own vineyards,according to their traditions.

 

Tasting Notes: Elegant nose of black fruit, plum, liquorice and mineral notes. Good weight with rich fruity expression. Pleasantly creamy palate and rounded tannins on the finish.
