Tuets Tot Ancestral Trepat is a sparkling wine made under the ancestral method, a very old method that produces sparkling wines after a single fermentation. In the ancestral method, the must begins fermenting in the tank, but it is bottled before it is finished, in order to complete the fermentation in the bottle.

A natural sparkling wine blended from the winery’s different white varieties. Hand-picked grapes, destemmed, crushed and in pellicular maceration for 1 day. Elaborated with its own yeasts and bottled at a density of 1002. Disgorged in the traditional way, bottled unfiltered with no sulphites added.

Annual production of 1239 bottles.

Notes: Ideal as an aperitif. IT CONTAINS NATURAL SEDIMENTS FROM FERMENTATION

Celler Tuets is a small family winery in Aiguamurcia, a small village situated in the Alt Camp area in the province of Tarragona.

The creator of the wines is Albert Domingo, a passionate and enthusiastic young winemaker who, together with his father, works the family estate, 70 hectares of land that has been in the family’s hands for six generations. Of those, 22 ha are planted with vines on predominately calcareous soils at an altitude of 500–600 meters above sea level.

The wines are organically farmed using biodynamic principles, which Albert is very fond of. They have been practicing organic farming for a long time, and for a few years, the farm has been fully certified organic.

Albert’s philosophy is zero intervention and manual harvest; all the wines are vinified in stainless steel vats, fermented with natural yeasts, no fining, stabilisation, or filtering and sulphites and additives free.
